Description

Join Parks in Mind for a summer of self-care with free and new creative sessions in the park! A free programme of six nature-inspired arty activities, for anyone wanting to improve their wellbeing. Starting Wednesday 16 June, you can join for the whole course or dip in and out. 

Art materials will be supplied. You will need a bottle of water, sturdy footwear, sun protection and to dress for the weather.

No previous experience required.

Weds 16 June - Discovering Wellbeing in Nature - What works for your wellbeing? Explore how spending time in nature can benefit us all

Weds 23 June - Taking Notice with Mindful Photography - Take a closer look at the natural world around you and find beauty everywhere with your smartphone

Weds 30 June - Get Active and Get Creative  - Walk, discover and make your own piece of beautiful environmental art, then leave it for someone to find!

Weds 7 July - Learning and Natural Creativity - Discover fun ways to harness colours from nature to make your own art!

Weds 14 July - Gratitude, Gifting & Connecting - Tap into nature's bounty to make simple gifts for your friends and for yourself

Weds 21 July - Setting Goals and Intention Sticks  - Set yourself a simple wellbeing goal and help make it happen by crafting a beautiful intention stick
