Join experienced bookbinder Nesta Davies of Leafworks to make a charming little book with pockets. This is a really lovely thing to keep or give as a gift.
You will need to bring along a pair of scissors and some PVA (craft glue) or a glue stick. Also an old kitchen knife or wooden ruler to crease the paper if possible (you can use your hands but it’s nice to have something to press with). We will send you everything else you will need in the post, so please book by Monday 10th May, giving the address you would like your pack sent to. We do have some spare glue sticks, so if you need one, please also let us know when booking.
Join the Zoom video-conference at 2pm. The person you care for is welcome to join in too.
How does it work?
- Email carersupport@bcpcouncil.gov.uk to let us know you would like to join in.
- We will email back to confirm if you have a place – first come, first served basis – we may be able to repeat popular events.
- We will email you an invitation and a ‘link’ that you click onto when the event is due to start. Also a password you will need to type-in to join the meeting.
- You will be prompted to either download ‘Zoom’ or join using your browser and then taken through a few steps to join the meeting.
