Description

A FREE online course specifically for carers in the South-West.

Life as a carer can be stressful, tiring and incredibly lonely. On this free, 6 week training course you can meet others in the same situation, learn how to cope better, feel more in controll and be more resilient.

The HOPE Programme (Help Overcoming Problems Effectively), and is based on a course developed by the University of Coventry to help people cope better. The programme helps you to focus on you as a person, not as a long-term condition. It helps you to discover new strengths and rediscover old ones to keep yourself well. It also aims to boost your self-confidence and resilience, to help you cope better emotionally, psychologically and practically.

Starting on Thursday 2nd September, yuo can complete the course at your own pace, with support from trained facilitators.
